Junior Biochemistry Major
k = Ae-Ea/RT
(e is a button on your calculator)
- Solve for A at 475K
- plug in variables
- Ea= 13.6 Kj/mol
- k = 0.045 s-1
- T = 475K
- A= 1.408 s-1
- Since A and Ea are the same for a particular reaction, we use the value of A that we found with our new temperature
- Plug in variables
- Ea = 13.6 kJ/mol
- T = 789 K
- A = 1.408 s-1
- k = 0.1771 s-1
