A mole is just a really big grouping number. Just like a dozen = 12, a mole = 6.02x10^23
example: Is 12 molecules of carbon monoxide greater than, less than, or equal to 1 mole of carbon dioxide molecules? --- that's right. They're the same.
Answer to your question: 6.02x10^23 molecules of carbon monoxide is the same number of a mole of carbon dioxide molecules.
answer to part 2- they both have the same number of molecules.

6.02x1023 molecules of CO has the same number of molecules as 1 mole of CO2 so would be equal to.
For the 2nd part, it depends on what they mean by greater than. One mole of CO molecules has the same number of molecules as 1 mole of CO2, but the MASS of CO would be LESS than that of CO2. Poorly written question.

I am pretty sure the first one if equal to and the second on is less than, but I am not 100% sure.03/06/23
