SIDE₁² + SIDE₂² = DIAGONAL²

SIDE₁² = 16

DIAGONAL² = 33

16² + ?² = 33²

?² = 33² -16²

? = √ (33² -16²)

? = √ (1089 -256)

? = √ (833). = 28.86
