Use the distance formula to find the distance between the center, (3, -1), and the given point on the circle, (6, 1). You can look up the distance formula in your book or on-line. That distance is equal to the radius, r, of the circle. The formulas for the circumference and area are:
C = 2·π·r
A = π·r2
Plug in the value for r that you got from the distance formula then use your calculator to compute the answers.
