Liam is debating whether to use a straightedge and compass or a computer drawing program to complete a construction of a regular hexagon inscribed in a circle. Which method do you think would take the longest to complete the construction and why?

Hi Kani D.,
About a minute to construct by compass and straightedge.
To make such a figure by computer, think of all the things you need to do:
1) Install a drawing program on your computer (it probably has one anyway?)
2) Play around with the various tools available. That might take you an hour, if you're a quick study.
3) Plan how you can make the computer drawing tools work to do what you need. They probably won't, so you need to write your own drawing software -- 3 days of learning some coding.
4) Try it out. Debug (note how similar, but different, this work is to "debut"!). Another few days.
5) Forget why you were doing the task, and draw lots of interesting constructions.
6) Gosh, what day is it now?
Get the idea? -- Cheers, --Mr. d.
