A 36-in. by 36-in. ceramic tile shower stall is being installed. How many 4-in. by 4-in. tiles are needed to cover the floor? (Area and division problem)

Hey, so I first wanted to find the area of the ceramic tile shower stall, 36 x 36 which is 1296in. Then, I found the area of the tiles that were going to be used so I multiplied 4 by 4 which is 16in. I then, divided 1296 by 16 and got 81 as the quanitity of tiles that would be needed. Would this be the correct way to find this answer?
