La'Keisha R.
asked 01/10/23Hey, so I first wanted to find the area of the ceramic tile shower stall, 36 x 36 which is 1296in. Then, I found the area of the tiles that were going to be used so I multiplied 4 by 4 which is 16in. I then, divided 1296 by 16 and got 81 as the quanitity of tiles that would be needed. Would this be the correct way to find this answer?

36^2/4^2=(36)(36)/(4)(4) = (36/4)(36/4)=(9)(9)= 9^2 = 81 tiles
