I'm answering the request to plot the graph of y = 2sec(x + π) - 2.
I start with the graph of y = cos(x), because we know what that looks like.
y = cos(x + π) is just the negative of y = cos(x)
sec(x) = 1/cos(x), so sec(x + π) = 1/cos(x + π)
y = 2sec(x + π) looks just like y = sec(x + π) stretched vertically by a factor of 2.
y = 2sec(x + π) - 2 looks just like y = 2sec(x + π), but moved down by 2 units.
