The graph shows a circle with its center at (-2,2) and its diameter amost being from -5 to 1. The edges of the circle don't quite touch these though so i'm having trouble finding r.
I have: (x+2)^2+(y-2)^2=?

The diameter of the circle can be found from the points (-5, 2) and (1,2). Using the distance formula we find diameter = 6 or r = d/2 = 6/2 = 3
Hence, equation of circle = (x+2)^2+(y-2)^2 = 3^2=9

Could the picture just be drawn poorly? I would think that the endpoints of the diameter would be "nice" numbers like -5 and 1, since the center is a "nice" number.12/01/22
