volume of cone = 1/3 * PI * r ^2 * h
surface area of cone = PI * r * (l + r)
r = 9, h = 14 given
to find slant height (l) use Pythagorean Theorem
14^2 + 9^2 = l^2
277 = l^2
16.64 = l
plug numbers for r, h and l into equation. PI = 3.14159
