Whatever It Takes To Help
Start with the equation of a line: Y = mX + b. Find m or slope: (change in Y) / (change in X) or (4 +4) / (-5 -5) or -4/5. Use the values of one of the points for the variables Y and X and solve for b:
4 = (-4/5) (-5) + b = 4 + b
b = 0
Rewrite Y = mX + b using the values for m and b.
