If mass is increased, will force increase as well? I believe by the same proportion but I’m not sure.

I am not sure if I understood the question correctly, but Force = Mass x Acceleration. It depends on if the increased mass slowed the acceleration or if the acceleration rate was compensated for, remaining constant.
