Actually A is sort of a "degenerate" triangle, as it collapses into a straight line, which is not really considered a real "triangle" if two sides are 10 and 8, with the 3rd side = 18, it's a straight line, a sort of "triangle" with angles 180 and 0 and 0 degrees.
