Numerator becomes
(sin y cos x + sin x cos y) / sin x cos y )
Denomonator becomes
(sin x cos y + sin y cos x) / (sin y cos y)

Before answering the question, I make the comment that when you use a forward slash to define a fraction try to use grouping symbols to better define what the fraction looks like. That is: (cotx + coty)/(tanx + tany). The left hand side could easily be interpreted as: cotx + (coty)/tanx) + tan(y)10/16/22
