verify cot(x) + cot(y) / tan(x) + tan(y) = cot(y) cot(x)

Before answering the question, I make the comment that when you use a forward slash to define a fraction try to use grouping symbols to better define what the fraction looks like. That is: (cotx + coty)/(tanx + tany). The left hand side could easily be interpreted as: cotx + (coty)/tanx) + tan(y)
