You need to use a statistics program such as Excel or R or a calculator such as the TI 84 or Inspire to do this problem. You must first put the data into the calculator or spreadsheet. Then make a plot to see which point or points are outliers. The calculators and programs have functions to calculate correlation once you have the data in the calculator or program.
If you don't know how to use a statistics program or calculator, you should find an online tutorial or tutor for help. You must know how to use these if you are in a statistics course. For high school courses, the TI-84 calculator is most frequently used. College courses generally use various statistics programs. You will have been given access to the program as part of your course.
