How many parallel chords exist between the center of a circle, the first chord being chiefly the diameter, and a line equal in length, parallel to the diameter and identified as tangent. All of the chords would lie in the same plane as the diameter and head out towards the circle’ edge and once on the arc that particular chord would be termed a tangent. Maybe there’d be ninety.

Assuming we are only talking about one diameter, then the number of segments, equal in length and parallel to that diameter that are chords of the circle would be zero.
There are an unlimited number of chords that can be parallel to a diameter, but none are the same length, they would all be shorter.
Chords of a circle are never tangent to the circle, they are defined as having both end points on the circumference circle.
A line that is tangent to a circle is drawn at a right angle to a radius at its endpoint on the circumference.
