When is it better to use a graduated cylinder instead of volumetric pipets or beakers when measuring volume?

Perhaps if the volume to be measured is too large to use a volumetric pipet (i.e. greater than 100 ml). The graduated cylinder would still provide better accuracy than a beaker.
