Formula mass of water, and sulfuric acid in amu. Keep at least one decimal place in atomic masses from the periodic table.
Water (H2O)
H = 1.0 x 2 = 2.0 amu
O = 16.0 x 1 = 16.0 amu
Total = 18.0 amu
Sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
H = 1.0 x 2 = 2.0 amu
S = 32.1 x 1 = 32.1 amu
O = 16.0 x 4 = 64.0 amu
Total = 98.1 amu
