q represents the measure of angle Q
2q - 3 represents the measure of angle P
P + Q = 180
2q - 3 + q = 180
Can you solve for q and answer?

Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
P = 2Q-3
P+Q = 180 for supplementary angles
substitute right side of 1st equation into 2nd
2Q-3 +Q =180
combine like terms
3Q =180+3 = 183
3Q=183
divide by 3
Q = 61 degrees
P= 180-61 = 119 degrees
119=2(61)-3= 122-3=119
