A sample of ideal gas is in a sealed container. The pressure of the gas is 585 torrtorr , and the temperature is 8 ∘C∘C . If the temperature changes to 94 ∘C∘C with no change in volume or amount of gas, what is the new pressure, P2P2P_2, of the gas inside the container?
Express the pressure numerically in torr.

P1 = initial pressure = 585 torr
T1 = initial temperature in Kelvin = 8C + 273 = 281K
P2 = final pressure = ?
T2 = final temperature in Kelvin = 94C + 273 = 367K
Use P1/T1 = P2/T2
585 torr / 281K = P2 / 367K
P2 = 764 torr
