Rather than f(x) = x + (4/x) + 10, I think you meant f(x) = (x + 4) / (x + 10). To find the inverse f-1(x), you can solve f(x) for x to obtain f-1(x) = (10x - 4) / (1 - x) and evaluate at x=-1.
