The floor is 3500 mm wide and 2800 mm long. A laminate floor with dimensions of the useful width is 192 and 2000 lenght millimeters will be installed on it. Boards run on width of the room.

A) Let's calculate how many laminate boards are needed?

B) How wide should the starting and ending pieces be so that they are the same width at both ends?

What is the length of each board? Do you want the boards to run the length of the room or the width? Check post for accuracy!

Lenght is 2000 mm. Boards run on width of the room.

First line is misleading. Length is always the longer side. So should the length be 3500 mm and the width 2800 mm?
