What is the half-life of an isotope if after 2.00 weeks you have 31.25 g remaining from a 250.0 g starting sample size?

Not sure how you arrived at this, but first order radioactive decay is exponential and the number of half lives would be 3, not 8. After 1 half life, you have 125 g. After 2 half lives, you have 62.5 g and after 3 half lives you have 31.25 g.
