Lowest 7%:
Excel formula:
=normsinv(0.07,0,1)
=-1.48
Highest 7%:
=1-0.07 = 0.93
=normsinv(0.93, 0, 1)
=1.48
What are the bone density scores?
(-1.48, 1.48)
Kylie M.
asked 06/30/22Assume that a randomly selected subject is given a bone density test. Those test scores are normally distributed with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1. Draw a graph and find the bone density test scores that can be used as cutoff values separating the lowest 7%
and highest 7%, indicating levels that are too low or too high, respectively.
I have found the graph just need to find the bone density scores.
