For situations where we're looking at the proportion of a sample or population, the standard deviation equation is σ=√[np(1-p)], where n is the sample size and p is the proportion in decimal notation. I would say multiply together the sample size, the proportion, and "1-p". Then take the square root of that answer.
Keep in mind that I had it as np(1-p); keep the order of operations in mind here or you will get the wrong answer.
