a) There are 8 possible outcomes. You are successful if less than 2 (1 only) or at least 6 (6,7,8) so the answer is 4/8 = 1/2

b) less than 2 and at least 6 is impossible. = 0

c) Even: 2,4,6,8 Again 4/8 or 1/2
