molar mass NH3 = 17.04 g / mole
42 g NH3 x 1 mole NH3 / 17.04 g x 1 mol N2O3 / 2 mols NH3 = 1.23 moles N2O3
Note: N2O3 is called dinitrogen trioxide, not nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is NO.
If you want the equation and solution for moles of NO, then it would be as follows:
4 NH3 + 5 O2 → 4 NO + 6 H2O ... balanced equation
42 g NH3 x 1 mol NH3 / 17.04 g x 4 mols NO / 4 mols NH3 = 2.46 mols NO
