HNO3(aq) + H2O(l) ==> H3O+(aq) + NO3-(aq)
Ba(OH)2(s) + H2O(l) ==> Ba2+(aq) + 2OH-(aq)
HF(aq) ==> H+(aq) + F-(aq)

Ok. Since HF is a weak acid, I guess they want you to use the more traditional equation, which I have done back in the original answer, so as not to confuse others. HF ==> H+ + F-

Hello! I tried to input the answers you gave me and it said they were incorrect. This is the feedback I received. You have not correctly balanced the equation for HF. Although H+ and H3O+ are commonly used interchangeably, you cannot use H3O+ here because H2O is not a reactant. Notice that your equation is not balanced. Change H3O+ to H+, then you will see that the equation becomes balanced. If H2O had been included as a reactant, it would have been correct to use H3O+.04/07/22
