The point (0,0) is on the y-axis; therefore, the y-intercept is (0,0).

I've found that the answer to this depends on the school and sometimes even the instructor. Some schools/instructors ask the students to write it as a coordinate point, while others ask the students to write just the value of y at the point of intersection on the y-axis.
