How do I turn a sharp tailor point corner for collars and lapels?

Sharp corners are hard to turn without using this tailor's technique. How many corners have you blown out in your lifetime lol?

I usually trim the seam allowance so it's not thick. And then, I will do the "thread and needle" method where you will create a knot on the edge of the rhread, and use it to lock the corner (tip) of the collar or lapel, then use the needle to pull it so it gives you a sharp and clean point. =)

With a long hand needle and un-knotted thread, do a small pick stitch in the same place 3 times just outside of your corner machine-stitch in the trimmed seam allowance area. Carefully feed your needle through to the face side in between the two layers. Pull the needle slowly to the outside using small pliers if necessary to get into that small corner space. Keep pulling until the corner is completely turned.
