Can't I just study for the USCIS exam in my first language?

USCIS Citizenship Interview Prep
The Civics/history questions are in English. There are different possible answers; you will respond with one or two answers as required by the question. In addition, they need you to SPEAK, UNDERSTAND, READ a SENTENCE, and WRITE a sentence in English. You must know English and pass those four requirements in addition to the Civics questions. In my teaching sessions, I focus on the questions, the interview process, the vocabulary used (in English, including words and definitions), and Mock practicing for the interviews.

Yes you can! However, when it comes time to pass the citizenship test, you will want to have strong familiarity with the questions as they are in English. It might be good to learn the content in your language of preference, but be sure to study them in English as well! Good luck!
