Plssssssss helppppppp

A balloon rises at a rate of 10 feet per second from a point on the ground 100 feet from an observer.


A.) Find the distance from the observer to the balloon when the balloon is 50 feet off the ground.


B.) After another 5 seconds have passed, find the distance from the observer to the balloon.

The ground or horizontal distance given is 100 ft for part A the height or vertical is given as 50 ft as in a previous questions the Pythagorean Theorem applies to your Right Triangle. For Part B you need to multiply the balloon's speed by 5 seconds and add that onto to the 50 to get the new vertical distance for your next Right Triangle.
