asked 03/07/22What’s the last vertex of parallelogram ABCD, if three vertices are (4,6) , (3,4) and (8,5). Give all possible solutions

Hi Renzi Y
You can plot your points on a coordinate grid and just connect them to find the last vertex.
Since you have a Parallelogram and parallel lines have the same slope; you could calculate the slopes and use those to predict the y/x coordinates for example the line passing through (4, 6), (8, 5) has a slope of (-1/4)
Where m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
The parallel line will have the same slope of (-1/4) and pass through (3,4) you need another point along this line.
This slope indicates that another point along the line parallel that passes through (3,4) should have a y coordinate that moves down by 1 or 4+(-1) and an x coordinate that moves to right by 4 or 3+4. I got (7,3).
I hope this helps.
