If I draw a straight line from D to (6,1) and another from (6,1) to G, I have a right triangle where DG is the hypotenuse.
My horizontal line is 4 long and my vertical line is 1 long.
a2 + b2 = c2
c = √(a2 + b2)
c = √(16 + 1) = √17
Since EF has the same length, your answer is D.

Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
the perimeter = 2sq10 + 2sqr17
two sides are sqr10 each
the other two sides are sqr17 each
the sides are hypotenuses of right triangles
with sides 4 and 1 for two of them
and sides 3 and 1 for the other two
h^2 = 4^2+1^2
h = sqr(16+1)= sqr17
for the other two sides
h= sqr(9+1) = sqr10
D is the correct answer
