In addition to what Nikolai’s P said below, applying the same to the rest of your problems with respect to their own special relationships; You have Right Triangles, 45,45,90 (the isosceles right triangle) and 30,60,90 right triangles. Look up the relationship between the sides of these triangles that should help you a lot with the calculations.
