Victoria and Alex are ice skating. They decide they want to race to the cone in the middle. Alex wants to
know if it is a fair race. Victoria is 7 meters away from the cone and the angle between her and the cone
is 47deg. They are also 15 meters away from each other. Is it a fair race?

Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
- use the Law of Cosines to calculate the distance from Alex to the cone
c^2 = 15^2 + 7^2 -2(15(7)Cos47
=225 +49 -210(.682) = 130.78
c = about sqr130.78 = 11.4
Victoria has a 4.4 meter unfair advantage. It's not a fair race
