i don't understand why this question is here. It was answered twice by tutors already. Must be a duplicate question. Chris R., please quit hitting "Submit" more than once.
You can construct a right triangle with the height of the triangle being 14 inches and the length of the ramp being the hypotenuse, then you get the relationship:
Sin(12°) = 14 / hyp
Then you solve algebraic for the hyp
And you get: hyp = 14/sin(12°) = 67.3
Answer: Length of ramp is 67.3 inches
