Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
5+4 + sqr41 = about 15.4
= 9 + sqr41 = about 15.4 = the perimeter of the triangle with sides 5, 4 and sqr41
when the x or y coordinates are the same, just take the difference of the other coordinate to get the distance from one point to the other
(-3,3) to (-3,-2) is a distance of 3--2 = 3+2 = 5
(1,-2) to (-3,-2) is a distance of 1--3 = 1+3 = 4
(-3,3) to (1,-2) is the square root of (4^2 + 5^2) = sqr(16+25) = sqr41
