Maria has 15 pairs of socks. Two-thirds of them are red. Sarah has 10 pairs of socks. Half of them are red. Wendy has 12 pairs of socks. Two-thirds of them are red. How many pairs of red socks do Maria, Sarah, and Wendy have in total?

Maria 15 socks if 2/3 are red, then 15 * 2/3 = 10 are red

Sarah. 10 socks. If half are red, then 1/2 * 10 = 5 are red

Wendy 12 socks. If 2/3 are red, then 12 * 2/3 = 8 are red

Total red socks = 10 + 5 + 8 = 23
