If you draw the picture of the triangle:
tan(34°) = x/100
Solve for x

The way the problem was stated, yes I did. Otherwise the slant height from the base to the top of the mountain and the horizontal distance from the base to the center of the mountain would be needed, but were not given.02/02/22
