- CA=DA A midpoint divides the segment into two congruent parts
- <CAB=<DAE Vertical angles are congruent
- Triangle ACB is congruent to Triangle ADE By the SAS theorem
- BA=EA CPCTC (Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent)
