Are 5y-48 and 3y+60 the measure of two adjacent angles? If so they would form a linear pair, which are supplementary (add to 180).

That gives a value of 222 degrees, which cannot be right: the two vertical obtuse angles would add to 444 degrees. Plus if the expressions are for supplementary angles, then they sum to 180 degrees but are not equal. If you sum them to 180, you get y = 21 and 5y-48 = 57 and 3y+60 = 123. So the expressions must go with the angles on the bottom.
