Sharing Computer Sound on Zoom

I am presenting in a zoom meeting, but the other attendees cannot hear the sound in my presentation. How do I share that sound so that others can hear it?

Great question. Zoom can be tricky, and as they update their software, they often move where certain features are located. This answer is based on zoom version 5.9.1. If you are having problems, I suggest first making sure you have updated to the newest version of zoom.

When you start to share your screen, there is a check box in the lower left corner that says "share sound". If that check box is selected, other attendees should be able to hear the sound from your presentation.

If you are already presenting, it's not too late. In the toolbar at the top of your screen, click "more." Toward the bottom of that menu, you will again see the option to "share sound."
