Walmart is one of the biggest retailers in the world and considering that the online retail space and ecommerce generally has gained substantial traction over the last few years (partly as a result of Covid), it would behoove Walmart to purchase web businesses that are established so that it may further increase its reach and customer base. Through synergy, Walmart may capture new markets or solidify itself as the top seller in markets it already competes in. This is a nuanced question and much more elaboration is needed!
