Hi Humar!
The question is not worded correctly, and what is the center dilation point?
Other than that, if triangle RST is a 0.25 dilation of triangle JKL, then how to find the similarities between them is through the following:
1) The angles of JKL will be congruent to that of RST. In size dilation, the measurements of the angles do not change, despite the size difference.
2) The sides of RST to that of JKL would be a proportion of 1/4.
Would it be possible to restate the question with a clearer background? Any images in the problem would be best if any pictures were given?
Humar P.
