In order for the two lines to be parallel opposite angles would have to be congruent.
We have 64 degrees for AN isosceles triangle PQR. That means the other two angles are 58 each.
For triangle SRT, ANGLE R is 58 since its the same as R in the smaller triangle. Because bigger triangle is also isosceles the other two angles are 61 each. Now compare the angles P to S and Q to T.
