A 30 FEET LADDER IS LEANING AGAINST A BUILDING. IF THE LADDER MAKES AN ANGLE OF 30 DEGREES WITH THE GROUND , HOW FAR UP THE BUILDING DOES THE LADDER REACH?

Sin 30 degrees = 1/2.

Sin 30 = y/30, where y is how high up the building the ladder reaches.

y = 15 feet.
