Hi,

tanθ +1= 0 Find the degrees

for solving this equation :

tanθ +1 - 1= 0 - 1 =====> tanθ = -1 = tan(-45) =====> θ = kπ - 45 = k(180) - 45

now choose k = 0, 1, 2, ... then find θ that it will be -45, 180-45= 135, 360 - 45 = 315 this answer is exactly the same point as -45 so on one circle or (0, 2π ) all answers are {135, 315}
