The range of y = Sin-1x is [-π/2, π/2] and the domain is [-1,1]. The inverse sine of a positive number in the interval (0, 1] lies in quadrant 1 while the inverse sine of a negative number in the interval [-1, 0) lies in quadrant 4.
So, Sin-1(√3/7) lies in quadrant 1.
