If you plot these points in the coordinate plane you will see a figure that can be split into two figures of which you can find the area of:
A parallelogram from the lower four points and a triangle from the upper three points.
The area of the parallelogram would be length of base (3) * height (2) = 6 square units.
The area of the triangle would be 1/2 * length of base (3) * height (2) = 3 square units.
The area of the entire figure would be the sum of those two areas = 9 square units.
