There actually is an amplitude, the value is 3 (the value in front of the cot)
For the period and phase shift, this is not written in standard form. Need to do that first.
y=-3cot(4(x-π/2))
Period = π/B = π/4
Phase shift = π/2 to the right (right due to the subtraction sign)
